CB-12/CB-22 Series Ceiling Boxes

The CB-12/CB-12P Classroom Ceiling Enclosure is designed for classrooms with projectors. This amazing 1’x2’
enclosure drops into any standard drop ceiling installation and provides electrical connections, AV equipment
installation and AV and Data signal routing above the ceiling. The Ceiling Enclosure has a projector receptacle
facing the room, 3 additional un-switched receptacles inside the enclosure and brackets to mount two ½ rack
pieces of equipment. The cover is a white trim ring, similar the ceiling grid, that holds a matching ceiling tile for a
finished look. An optional fan kit is available.
The CB-22/CB-22P Classroom Ceiling Enclosure is designed for classrooms, conference and meeting rooms with
a projector and control equipment. This 2’x2’ enclosure has ample room for two full rack pieces of equipment
or four half-rack pieces on the built-in shelves. The unit includes an external AC receptacle and a switch/circuit
breaker on the ceiling surface, and five AC outlets ergonomically spaced to allow room for wall warts inside the
enclosure. A white rim door that you insert a ceiling tile into for a matching look is included. An optional fan kit
and a variety of mounting kits are available.
The CB-22S is a “Smart Enclosure” that features built-in projector state auto-sense which senses the power state
of the projector to turn off remaining receptacles when the projector is turned off, thereby eliminating parasitic
power consumption. It also includes two monitored un-switched outlets, one on the ceilings surface for projector
power. The main switch/circuit breaker and four switched AC outlets are spaced to allow room for wall warts. An
integral fan is included. As options, the receptacles can also be triggered by a low voltage contact closure and
switching power to all 6 outlets can be accommodated.
